THURSDAY PRACTICES : Please
do not miss practice. We will have SEVERAL group practices
prior to team placement to help us with equitable team
distribution. While this is recreational soccer, it is VIP that your child attends
all practices and games.

- This
season, our U13/U14
age groups will combine and play with a partner of ours in Durham,
making more teams and divisions for all players enjoy.
Our soccer club is
sanctioned by United States
Club Soccer; a member of the United Sates Soccer Federation
(USSF).
Goldstar Soccer Club is dedicated to developing quality soccer
players and teams from the recreational level of play, to those
who are competitive on a state, regional, and national level.
Goldstar Soccer Club’s foundation was originally based on highly competitive soccer- where our teams are nationally
ranked. Desiring to expand these specialized training
opportunities to all children, Goldstar Soccer Club is pleased pleased
to offer a one of it's kind; a Professionally
Instructed Recreational Soccer League.
This
fast growing recreational soccer league is open to all boys and
girls ages 4-14; regardless of skill level. We follow the
USSF recommendations for our game matches. THIS IS RECREATIONAL SOCCER, but our
professional coaching staff is
there to help
teach the core skills and fundamentals of soccer, while guiding our
excellent parent
volunteer coaches.
All
games and practices will be played at our soccer complex in
Cary / Apex - just off HWY 55, located at 2513 Old US 1 (S.
Salem St.) Apex, NC. Our
complex is conveniently located for West Raleigh, Cary, Apex,
Garner, Fuquay
Varina, New Hill, Holly Springs, Willow Springs, Chatham &
Durham residents.

What exactly is Professionally Instructed Recreational
Soccer?
It is RECREATIONAL Soccer with a "twist". Young soccer players will compete in a weekend game but also
participate in a mid-week training session directed by several professionally licensed coaches who specialize in youth soccer. Each practice session will consist 30+
minutes
of technical training followed by 10-20 minutes of scrimmage time. This format has proven to increase the child’s knowledge of the sport while enhancing his / her
overall confidence and soccer development.
Professional
coaches Mike
Moltzon aided by Dominique Thenard
will head up this soccer program alongside wonderful volunteer parent
coaches; to better equip children for their Saturday game-day matches. Billy
Englishby aids in specialized Goal
Keeping training for those children playing 6v6 (or strong rising
U8) as group training.
In addition to Goldstar's professional coaching staff,
our
organization is fortunate to have many EXCELLENT volunteer
parent coaches.

comprehensive weekly curriculum is conducted and demonstrated by
professional Goldstar trainers in collaboration with outstanding
volunteer coaches. Weekly practices are just as important
(if not more important) than game day play.

away teams.

CelebrationSTAR
Day. This festival
will be held the end of October. It features an award ceremony for
players and coaches, as we finish our season with a mini tournament
and potluck cook-out! All family members and fans are invited to
enjoy and celebrate with these young soccer players.

Hispanic League. Age groups vary, as well as game and practice

Refunds:
Refunds
for the Fall 2009 Recreational Season must be requested BEFORE
August 20, 2009, and may be subject to a $20.00 administrative fee. Refunds
requested after the 1st game will not. ALL CREDIT CARD REFUNDS ARE SUBJECT A SMALL FEE (TO
COVER OUR "APR" FOR THE TRANSACTION).
Any requests received after
August 20, 2009 will not be honored.
