Dutch / Brazilian Soccer Information
 
Mark your calendars for the
Summertime DUTCH 4v4/Brazilian
soccer games and training which will be
held 2
Times per week
during June and
July!
This Dutch program is “player directed” and “player
friendly” for
the purpose of encouraging creativity,
self-esteem and skill development with-in a small sided environment. It
is common knowledge there are not enough pick-up soccer games in the
US due to our plush life-style, technological advances,
and the simple hustle and bustle of millennium world in which we
live in.
This
idea is to simulate “soccer in the streets”, like most
children do outside of the United States. All children need
to be encouraged to find, develop and strengthen
their own "Soccer Style". Their own
"Ginga". Ginga
is what gives Brazilian Fùtbol players their fluidity and
rhythm on the pitch and enables them to 'Joga Bonito' (Play
Beautiful).
Pick-up
soccer teaches children life skills. Our 4v4 Dutch Program
forces Spontaneous Teamwork. This
teamwork ethic and reliance on instructions, is something
each child needs. Players will be able to use as a
learning
tool which will translate
into their current (and future) everyday life.
- Dribbling the soccer ball represent self-control.
- Passing the soccer ball is all about effective
communication.
- Shooting the ball ties in with personal goals.
- Following and learning the rules of the game provides
ethics and values.
- Incorporates beats and helps
children flow with the rhythm of the ball to prepare and
aide them as they train for competitive play.
Goldstar
coaches and administrators will be present to oversee all
activities / games.

Before
players start this training, we will try to watch
a documentary, exposing them to different types of
soccer play. Documentary views can be done at home or via
Webmeeting.
